I've only been here a little bit, but it's honestly not a bad job. I can't speak for days, but at night, it's laid back. You get your work done and go home. Yes, there is some sitting in Columbus, but you're paid hourly... If you're looking for 10's of thousands of miles, no, this isn't for you. If you need structure to function again, it's probably not for you. However, if you just want to do your work and go home and don't mind older trucks, it isn't hard work at all. The worst thing is you try it and don't like it. I don't understand all of the complaints from other people.

You're considered "Family" until it's not convenient for them (RMX) anymore. Don't waste your time new drivers. There are better companies out there than RMX.

They lie to you about the hours that are so available, not telling you that there are some days with no freight to run, plus they have pretty old trucks that often times break down. Your very limited on miles. Cleveland, Columbus, Akron, & Roseville is all you will ever see. The docks up in Cleveland & Akron are like super tight when dropping or picking up trailers. The layover in Columbus is like 2-3 hours of waiting for a load. They have this 'do it, or else attitude'. They don't expand any service outside of Ohio. They're a lousy company. They call you family, up until you do something that offends them, & then they throw you under the bus. Id keep looking else...read full review
