It's not in my nature to say something negative about someone, but I'm shocked at Hank Johnson's poor workmanship, lack of responsiveness and consideration for his customer. We gave Hank a second payment of $4,000 in January, 2024 for work this Spring that he never attempted to complete, and to make matters worse, he won't take my calls. Proof that he's hiding is that some of his equipment and debris is still in my garage as of July 28, 2024 because it obviously has less value than what I fronted him in January. Please be aware not to give him any money in advance. He started our job in late October, 2023 and he said he would be completed before Thanksgiving. I had only one specific request not to work when the temperature went below 40º. He didn't honor that until I spoke to him face to face. He was angry and said we were going to put him out of business. In January, 2024, as I said previously, he requested and we foolishly believed him that he would start with us as soon as the weather broke and to help him by giving him the next payment. We have not seen him since despite multiple attempts to contact him. I've read the many glowing reports from other customers and wish I could be one of them but Hank Johnson not only has gone radio silent, he owes us $4,000 and doesn't have the courage to talk to us to figure this out amicably. I'm not an unreasonable person but Hank Johnson's lack of business honesty and professionalism is only exceeded by his cowardice.
If you look at the picture closely, you will notice that there are two different textures and two different poorly done applications. It was his confidence that he could achieve what we were asking that attracted us to Hank Johnson. One is a sandy brown and one is a more gray mix. Hard to believe that someone with this much experience could do this. Hank was not present during this time and never came back to check his employees' work.

we contracted HJ Stone artistry in mid April of this year to resurface and repair our fireplace chimney going up the side of the house. The owner Hank Johnson couldn't be more professional, and knowledgeable about the work required. We received an extremely competitive fair price, his crew showed up on time and worked diligently all day and worked neat. They clean the job site up every night and then did not interfere with the daily routine of the household. I strongly recommend that if you have any Masonary work HJ Odyssey are the people to call. I am particular on the contractors that I hire , this company and their personnel are all top notch.

Highly recommend!! I had horrible efflorescence all over our back patio and steps. I talked with countless companies who said they could take care of it but none could except for Hank. I'm beyond thrilled with the outcome. The before and after pictures are insane!

I own a building in Beacon, NY and water was coming into the basement, we also had quite a bit of efflorescence on the brick walls. I called Hank and he quickly gave me an estimate to fix everything. He did an amazing job! Even after this recent record setting rain fall and flooding the basement is 100% dry. The efflorescence is completely stabilized. Hank also sealed the driveway to make sure no water came into the building. I HIGHLY recommend him. Hank does what he says he's going to do, and that is a rare quality these days.
