24 Hour Fitness

24 hour fitness has been a great gym for me the last several years. Between having pretty much everything you could need at a reasonable price, I’d recommend this gym to anyone. The staff is always warm and welcoming and management is always open to suggestions and feedback. The only thing keeping it from 5 stars is not having the sauna area complete yet which is more of a corporate issue than it is for this gym and it’s staff.

Too crowded. The locker room needs to have more attention paid to it. Some patrons mix shakes and drinks in the locker room and spill power on the benches and they are left dirty. People coming in with more than 1 or 2 guests and monopolize the equipment.Does this gym have a Fox News sponsorship? I don’t go to the gym to be bombarded with Fox News or any other news channel for that matter. How about the Yes channel, or even the Mets network. Some other music channel would be nice, but to get the spin from these so called “news” channels while trying to release some stress and work out is a bit much. I’ve been at 24hour fitness in Yorktown since they opened. It’s a very bright, clean and spacious environment. It has a variety of equipment well laid out which makes it a great place to train. The management team are amazing and very helpful to the needs of each member. Staff are friendly and constantly walking around cleaning equipment. I highly recommend this gym if you are looking for a great place to achieve your fitness goals where you are in a friendly and pleasant atmosphere.
