Sisterlock Installation was a pleasant experience. Frances was very easy to work with. Every interaction I had with her from my initial consultation to my first wash went smoothly. She was thorough in what the process entails, honest and forthcoming with pricing and my decision to move forward with getting these locs. Everything I researched about Sisterloc, the process and how to find a consultant, she did everything by the book. It took a total of 24 hours in the span of three days to it, but Frances was so personable, our conversations went by on so much that the time didn't phase me. I personally did not feel any discomfort when getting them install, my scalp was just a bit itchy after she completed a bug section, other than that, I was very pleased with my experience with her. I was very impressed in the fact that she did not at all pressure me in anyway to schedule my appointment to install them right away let alone hire her to do my locs. Her shop was very clean, her other two stylist were well mannered and skillful. There are street parking with meters but there was alway a spot readily available. If you don't want to pay for meter parking, there residential street parking close by
Everytime I go there the young adults do it and they alwayd mess us one little thing. Sometimes it's noticeable and sometimes it's not. Just remind them what ur doing and even send them a picture
Frances was absolutely amazing!! I was in town for business and was recommended to her by one her clients. She is very skilled at retightening and repair. She informed me that my loctian back in Missouri was damaging my hair because they weren't following the pattern. She changed my life! When I'm back in NYC, I'll be traveling back to Yonkers to get my locs retightened and/ or just to say hello. Highly recommend!
