I’ve avoided getting new headshots for years. Professionally, I know how important it is to have that first impression image and yet I continued to put it off. Even when I would finally go get them done, I was never fully satisfied with the final images. My experience with Juliet was nothing like that. We sat and had coffee in her studio and talked about work, acting, life, mutual friends and picked a date in the future to get it done. Juliet made our photo session together feel like that first coffee meeting. Just hanging out. She’s a total pro and I felt so comfortable being myself around her …and she was able to capture ME. I couldn’t be happier with the images we chose and when I showed my wife she exclaimed; “these are the best headshots you’ve ever had.”

We worked with Laura to purchase a second home upstate. We saw a couple of properties of interest until we found THE ONE. It was well sought after with over 50 attendees at the open house. Laura strategized on how to present our bid including price, lawyer selection, and suggested closing date. She really understands the process and how to frame the deal psychologically as a buyer and a seller. Plus she’s a joy to work with AND was able to recommend some very good auxiliary professionals like a lawyer, inspector, painter, septic company, etc.
Marcia is professional, knowledgeable and she immediately tuned in to what I was looking for in my new home. Moving cross country from California was daunting and stressful. Marcia assisted during the entire transition and I found my wonderful home. Her knowledge of both the local and wider area market was essential in finding my home as well as finding tradespeople to work on remodeling. Marcia is currently helping my son who is retiring after serving 22 years in the Air Force-currently stationed in Texas- and relocating to the Woodstock area. I have every confidence Marcia will find a great home for my son.

Jax is an exceptionally gifted massage therapist with an amazing wisdom and intuition for the body and incredibly incredibly good hands. I am extremely picky and cannot recommend her highly enough. You will be in magnificent hands and your body will be instantly addicted.
I can't say enough good things about Peter and his electrical skills. He was able to diagnose and identify a multitude of electrical wiring, grounding, and overload issues in our old Woodstock cottage and quickly make the repairs. In addition, he was able to test some hardwired well pump heaters to verify if they are functioning. He is very knowledgeable, works fast and was able to come up with solutions to long standing problems while making sure they are done to code. Very friendly and willing to explain what he is doing and why. Very reasonable pricing as well. Mark is an incredibly knowledgeable builder. I am a Certified Sustainable Building Advisor and have seen his work. He is a great builder and someone who understands air quality, passive solar design, and many other facets that can go into a high performance and a HEALTHY house. Most builders simply do not have the education and experience to build a home that is not only beautiful and energy efficient, but one that is truly healthy. Those who have had mold exposure or autoimmune illness can benefit from living in a home that is mindfully and intentionally created and that is focused on wellness.

I was visiting Woodstock for the weekend with my husband and found Woodstock Spa which was minutes from where we were staying. I booked a facial with Anastazja and it was lovely. She was attentive, gentle and took the time to ask about my skin before we started. Would recommend booking with her and will be back next time we're in Woodstock!
