We did a big landscaping project at our home in downtown Saratoga Springs. The challenge was the lot was very small and I wanted a lot of function out the space. Geff and his team did an amazing job …. They designed both the front, side and backyard spaces including the driveway,, garden areas, and all the hardscape. They oversaw every aspect of the job including fence design, masonary details and selection of appropriate plants. I am not easy to work with as I also have my own ideas. They were patient and worked with me through all of the details. I cannot be happier with the outcome and may even like the outside of my home better than the inside. Hats off to the team!
I had an appointment today and saw Dr.Matt for a concern with my left eye. First of all, the staff provided an appointment quickly for me for which I was very grateful. Dr Matt was very pleasant and calming to this 78 year old anxious woman. After a thorough exam, he reassured me my eye shows no issues other than the cataract increasing as expected. I was thoroughly relieved but very thankful for his wonderful explanation and care. I have been a patient of Dr. Chris Zieker for several years now and love this practice. Hands down the finest veterinary practice in the area. Doctors, office staff, vet techs are all friendly, knowlegeable and efficient. My three dogs have very different health concerns, behavioral issues and personalities. The doctors treat each with expertise and compassion.
Darren is a gifted carpenter. His work is exacting and elegant. He built for us two white-oak curios that flank our fireplace. Four-feet high, these pieces—with their smoked doors and tops finished in ebony—draw attention, but don’t overwhelm the room: they complement our contemporary vibe perfectly. These pieces stun everyone who ventures into our living room. Behind the door are the oak sides and back, glass shelves, and lighting system. The LED lights of the curios are controlled by two remotes. The light beaming through the glass doors connects the pieces to our gas fire.
Darren is reliable, friendly, and easy to work with. He provided an animated on-line viewbook of what the pieces would look like in context of our room. The finished product was exactly what the viewbook suggested. (We don’t have a black cat, however. LOL) These pieces were not cheap but work this fine can’t be found in the shops. If your house requires furniture or rebuilding/refinishing, Darren could be the guy!
