Updated Review – Six Years, Zero Integrity
In 2018, Maxim hired us to assess a damaged light fixture for their client (Vineyard Vines in Durham, NC). They gave us a Not To Exceed amount of $250. We dispatched a licensed tech, disassembled the fixture to get specs, sourced a replacement, and sent back an estimate. We invoiced them just $189.20—well below their NTE.
Then… silence. We followed up for years. Nothing. We ate the labor cost, office admin time, and eventually wrote it off.

They are immoral and unethical, Please steer clear of them. Maxim hired us to look at a cracked light that their customer, Vinyard Vines in Durham NC had so we can locate and price a replacement for them being they are in NY. They even gave us a NTE of $250.00! We had a technician go to the location, take the light apart to get the data, research where a replacement can be purchased, and sent them an estimate to replace it. We were honest and only sent them an invoice for $189.20! Less than their NTE! They accepted our information and then have refused to pay. Totally ignoring every request.
