The physical store in White Plains is lovely, clean and so well organized. Eddie was very helpful as I was there to purchase a violin. This is the first string instrument I’ve attempted to play and Eddie was patient, explained things very well and demonstrated numerous violins. There was no attempt to upsell and my first lesson was terrific.
They make not only gorgeous looking violins, but they play just as beautifully. I purchased one around 2010ish off Amazon. Never hearing their products, just going off their vivid descriptions & D Z Strad Violin Shop blew my violin instructor away. He is also a luthier & appraised my violin for a little more than double what I paid. I am currently saving up money to purchase a cello. That cello will definitely be purchased from them. great quality & customer service, which is a rarity nowadays.
I want to start by saying this has been as far an excellent customer service experience as I have ever had! I had some shipping damage when it arrived and they were quick to get it resolved and upgraded the instrument! Well made beautiful DZ 400 Cello model that not only looks stunning but plays very well with great projection and warm sound! my son is extremely happy with his gift. Thanks to Jim and his staff for a wonderful experience! Highly recommended!
