The staff is always so thorough and helpful. The park is so pleasant to walk to while you wait. Our beagle loves it here... We often bring old sheets & towels for the adoption center with any other extra treats or toys we have picked up also.
I began volunteering at the westhampton bideawee in the summer of 2024. I figured i love dogs and can help out. Well, its helped me out. Its a very rewarding experience. The people working there welcomed me and trained me how to handle the dogs safely. As a lifetime dog owner i thought i knew mostly everything about them. But i learned so much on how to handle each dog safely and really enjoy the experience.I’m very impressed with the structure and safety they adhere to. All animals are in pens, not cages. We adopted our beautiful yellow lab mix from BideAWee 9 years ago and recently adopted a sweet little mixed breed puppy. Terry was wonderful about setting up the “meet and great” and there was also a trainer on hand to insure the two dogs got along well. The adoption center is clean and inviting along with a very friendly staff. Highly recommend!
