I reached out to Mary and she was extremely friendly over the phone. She expressed she doesn't normally take kids on horses due to liability, which I totally understand, but she made an exception for us because I told her I wanted the lesson to be more about learning horses than just riding for funsies.

Great experience and fun! Mary starts our very deliberately to make sure you and the horse are comfortable and safe. The ride is not like any other horseback riding experience I've had. It was more like an ATV adventure. She takes you off the beaten path and you really get to know your horse and get a feel for what real riding is like. You'll be surprised how quickly your riding skills improve. By the time you get back to the barn you'll feel like seasoned rider.
