About UR Medicine Home Care
UR Medicine Home Care receives mixed reviews from clients and a former employee. One client describes the care received over six months as top notch, with fantastic nurses and the best of the best aides, characterizing the staff as caring and kind. Another family expresses deep thanks for the compassionate care and services provided by the hospice team, benefiting from nursing, social services, and spiritual support. However, a former employee alleges a corrupt and insensitive environment, reporting that a supervisor made ignorant and hurtful comments about clients. Despite reporting the incidents to HR, the employee felt the supervisor was defended and the meeting was turned against them. The contrast in experiences is significant, with some describing excellent, kind care while a staff member reports unacceptable behavior from leadership.
U OF R homevare treated me as they'd treat they're own mither, tgey were caring, kind, I must disagree w all the negarivuty said abt them, had them for 6 mons and will b having them again, & am very happy about it, I had 1 in between when they had no more room, & u wanna talk abt problems, uneducated on all certain procedures, & near impossible to find my appt due to being frn dif countries, that was a true nightmare, u of R, every r & aide I had was top notch, the best of the best of aides esp, no, rns were fantastic as well!
3 nurses assigned in 12 hrs, because of scheduler disorganization. Not helpful to the stress level of the patient. Lab order overlooked. Team chewed out by MDs. Not helpful to the health or stress level of the patient. Critical medical supply order filled out, then sat on for 2 days. Order still not fulfilled! DEFINITELY not helpful to the discomfort, healing, and stress level of the patient. Out of 3 homecare agencies experienced or observed, UR Homecare underperforms the most. Not going back into the hospital to be UR's warehoused cash cow. When it comes to labor strikes or patient care, patient care is priority. Concentrate! Addendum: By discharge day, the ancillary...read full review
Our family is so thankful to UR Home Hospice for the compassionate care and services they gave to our dad, a WWII veteran. From the nursing and social services to the amazing Chaplain Marianne we all benefitted in Dad’s last 6 weeks of like. On Veterans Day Dad traveled to the Aurora Home for his last three days where he had the best send off possible. Thank you all so much ?
