My family travels from Boston to the Rochester area 2-3 times a year. When we come I stop in and train at Shogun multiple times every visit. Super welcoming to travelers! The head coach Shaun is extremely knowledgeable and has created a fantastic environment for learning. There are over a dozen upper belts who are just as friendly and enjoy working/teaching new people. Whether you're local or traveling, Shogun is a must drop in. ??
My son and daughter love Shogun. The owners are totally hands on. Students take a test to achieve each level. All students must show respect at all times. My son achieved every level to earn his first degree Jiu Jitsu Black Belt. There are whole families who take classes here, their amazing to watch. Parents can sit and watch the entire class. If you or your child want to learn martial arts this is the place to teach you all you want to know!
