Our wedding took place this last Sunday. My wife chose the venue but I was adamant that we should get a tent. The process was much more difficult than I thought it would be and I was starting to feel overwhelmed. We found out our venue had booked a wedding the day before (also requiring a tent, albeit smaller) so getting a tent set up for us on the day of was going to be difficult... I called numerous tent rental companies that told me the job would be too difficult without at least a few days to get everything set up (considering the size of the tent and what we'd need). One person even told me that they'd typically need 3 days to a week to set up a tent with the size and decorations we needed and was basically unhelpful. Eventually I contacted Nolans/Mccarthys and they were able to accomodate our requests. I worked with Ela and she went above and beyond in making the rental process as easy as possible. She gave great suggestions in regards to decor and assured me that they would get everything finished in time... Including decorating and setting up a custom stage which is typically used in a traditional South Asian wedding. We eventually settled on a 100 foot sail cloth tent with two types of lighting, gold chavari chairs, dessert dishes, and chafing dishes. When we arrived at the venue at 10:30 AM on the day of the wedding we found the tent already set up, chandaliers hung, bistro lighting set up, dance floor set up, and our stage was finished and beautifully decorated. Ask for Ela if you go through Nolans/ Mccarthys; she is warm and kind and made the process so much easier for us. I will definitely go through them again if I ever need a tent!
I recently worked with McCarthy's for the Noyes Health Charity Gala. They were great to work with, starting from the planning process straight through to clean up. Because of the nature and size of our event, our order was constantly changing, but they were able to accommodate us right up to the last minute. We were very pleased with the quality and set up of everything they provided and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a party rental vendor.
