I was beyond impressed with the quality of service I received at my appointment. Tanica is definitely set apart from other braiders and hairstylist. Just to start, she broke down the mechanics of scalp hygiene by showing my my follicles and scalp before applying a treatment that would unclog any built up product I had. She is a quick worker too and though a little late, my locs haven't looked this good in MONTHS. I also have lots of pets and she got a lot of their hair out of my locs. I am very grateful to have stumbled upon Tanica while I was in town visiting family and I will most definitely be coming back. I recently moved to New York and was looking for someone to do my hair. Luckily, I found Tanica. My main concern for my locs was the breakage of a few. We did a consultation and I knew right away that I would be in good hands. She explained EVERYTHING thoroughly and answered all the questions that I had. We did a detox and scalp treatment which left my hair feeling moistured and very soft. She repaired the locs that were broken and two-strand twisted my hair. I highly recommend to check her out. I’ll definitely be going back!🤗
She is very knowledgeable in her craft and walk you through the steps on how to take care of your hair. She is not just a hair stylist but a specialist and a Nutritionist. Her products are natural and she is very understanding and respectful.
