9/26/23If I could give zero reviews. I would do just that. Bennett Realty Group goes through “secretaries” (or whatever you want to call them) every couple of months. Not sure if the owner doesn’t pay them, working conditions suck, or what, but since I have rented from them they have had over a dozen people rotate. It started turning bad a couple of years ago when his secretary didn’t do her job on a consistent basis. Nothing was fixed in my home during her time “in office”. My lease wasn’t renewed and another person wasn’t added per my request because she just didn’t “get to it”. I guess she was fired or quit. New lady comes in. Shame, shame, shame. This owner rented a unit to a very young couple with a baby while the husband was serving our country. Upon move in it was filthy, filthy, disgusting. Dead bugs everywhere, dog s*** on the floor and smelled like cat piss. The blinds looked like someone spit syrup all over them. The bathroom leaked. I could go on. The poor mother had rented from another state so being young she felt she didn't have much choice but to take it. Upon move out they had the nerve to charge $513 to clean the carpet upstairs. Yeah, the carpet they left dog s*** on that smelled like cat piss. The square footage shouldn't have cost more than $165 at most. Truthfully they should have put new carpet down but hey what do you expect from a slumlord. Do not rent from this terrible person.

I used their agent Amber Forkey to assist me in purchasing a home…she worked harder for the sellers than she did for me. The home inspection report came back with asbestos in the home and she did nothing in my favor to get out of the offer. She only seemed interested in her commission if I purchased the home…that was 2 months ago and I haven’t heard from her…she hasn’t returned my call or my deposit. Be forewarned she appears to looking out for herself…not the buyer.
