Instructors are very patient, keep students engaged, and show real knowledge and passion for their teachings. They go above and beyond with lessons and for the community, doing fundraisers for students and participating in local events. Students develop a lasting passion, continuing their practice long after classes end. We had our children in Sensei John's classes a few years ago when we lived in town and he was amazing. We have put our kids in other martial arts schools since we've left, and they are nowhere as good as Sensei John's. He taught my wife self defense techniques as well and that was very appreciated and he also performed at our local church's talent show with our boys and it went over very well. I wholeheartedly recommend him and his school. You won't regret it.
