Absolutely stellar service and compassion...My mom passed recently and we called The Wantagh Abbey at 10pm at night...Doug answered and during this most difficult time he walked us through every step of the way...having never planned a funeral before my brothers and I did not know what to expect...yet we could not have expected anything better than the attention we received...Top notch everything...Doug called us back as late as almost midnight making sure ALL the arrangements were set up and multiple times asking if we had any questions...On the day of the wake, between Doug and Logan we were taken care of as if we were family!! We are so incredibly grateful to Doug, his father and employee Ronnie for making what was the most difficult days of our lives, a lot less stressful. Our family has been to the Wantagh Abbey many times over the past decades, but this was the first time my siblings and I were the ones planning the services. Doug was incredibly kind, funny when we needed some comic relief, thoughtful, engaging, available and so very easy to work with.
At the risk of sounding too morbid, they did an incredible job touching up Mom to ensure we could let others see her one last time. We truly didn't believe it would be possible after the battle with sickness that she fought. For that, we...read full review
Incredibly easy to work, Doug and his team took care of us in a time that was extremely difficult and sad. They were direct, honest and treated us with respect and kindness. Ten out of ten. Than you to Doug , Ronny and the rest of the Abbey family.
