“We had a seamless experience with Matt and all the employees of Ron Ferris & Son Roofing. From the get-go, Matt took his time to discuss all facets of the roof tear off and skylight replacements and warranties provided by the company and the manufacturer. He thoroughly inspected our roof and attic to locate the boards that needed replacement and to make sure our venting was adequate. Matt also provided us with addresses to drive by to see in person the color of the roof that we were contemplating, which made our choice much easier. His mother, Darlene, e-mailed us the estimate within a few days of our meeting with Matt and communicated well with us to answer our questions and finalize the contract for our signature. To our surprise, Matt and his own crew, headed up by his two nephews, were able to start the job quickly after we signed the contract. Matt gave us instructions as to what prep we needed to do, such as tarps over our furniture and carpeting where the three skylights were being replaced. They placed tarps on our grass and hung netting off the edge of our roof to cover and protect our bushes and air conditioner from the torn off shingles. The job took two days and they kept the clean-up going during the entire time. They found and corrected additional issues with our chimney for our gas fire place, at the back of our house, by replacing the rotten wood before they put on the new chimney roof, as well as corrected an issue where the roofs of the original house and addition met, without any additional charge. They even painted our exhaust pipes to match the drip edge color we chose. Matt’s estimate for the number of boards that needed replacing was spot on, and when the job was complete and after he walked the roof to double check everything, he took time to walk around the house with us to inspect everything. We are extremely pleased with all aspects of the job.
