“Recently, my wife and I closed on our first home, within a week of moving in we were informed by our home insurance provider that the roof was in need of repair, and that they would cancel our coverage. I reached out to JSR Jones through Angi's List, along with a handful of other Roofing contractors in the area, Ron Jones came out to my home that morning, provided me with a reasonable quote, and included replacing our gutters for not much more. Well, I met with at least 7 other teams, and each time was given a higher price tag, snake oil salesman tactics, and unprofessional discussions about why other teams were terrible for XYZ.With Ron, I didn't hear any of that, he gave me a quote, and told me to reach out if I wanted to work with his company. I called him back a couple days later, and was told work could begin the next day. His team showed up early that day, stayed late, and came back the next two days, giving my wife and I a new roof, and a sense of security. “I get uneasy everytime I need to hire a contractor. I've had some pretty bad experiences, and have heard even worse stories from others. I came to KC Contruction via their 'other name' GutterPro USA: Seamless Gutters. I worked with their Rochester, NY Office. (They are based in Endwell, NY) The person who met with us and gave us the estimate was very helpful and did a very nice job, not to aggressive of a salesman. A little more than I expected, but the guarantee and quality seemed to allow for slightly higher than I expected. I later called and said YES to the estimate, they asked me to send a deposit equal to 50% of the total cost. Which I did. About a week later, I was making my morning tea, and they pulled up. No appointment date set. Would have been fine, but we needed to do some painting before the new gutters could be installed. So I had to send them away. Once we were ready, I called back and scheduled. They showed on time. They got all of the old gutters removed and new ones installed in about 4 hours with a crew of two people! Kind and friendly people, they did a good job. They even took the old gutters away with them. So far, so good. They look great, and I have not spotted any problems.“
