Well, I have to say that I absolutely love Dr. Tali Reeis-Martin. I originally went to her for weight-loss at a time when she was also accepting primary care patients (she no longer does primary care). She gave me the most complete and comprehensive physical I have every had in my 53 years of life (at the time) and what I was so impressed with was the time and attention she gave me, she actually listed to me and my concerns etc. She really took the time to learn something about me and the struggle I had been having with my weight for about ten years at that point. She spend over an hour with me, and that wasn't running in and out of the room seeing other patients. I mean she was in the room with me for over an hour poking and taking the time to collect a complete history with all the baggage. She even reviewed previous blood work with me that had been done for a physical exam the year before. (I think that physical took about 15 minutes.) I have to say that at 55 years of age (now) I have never had a more attentive and caring physician care for and about me. She is always there for me and she has been instrumental in helping me take weight off, keep it off, and she continues to work with me on the behavioral modification that is so necessary to maintain a health weight and life-style. I also have A.S. which is one of the reasons my weight got so out of hand. I had to take many doses of anti-inflammatory medications and steroids every day of my life (they cause weight gain big time) on top of a biologic injection every week as part of my treatment. Since working with her, I have been able to stop all oral meds for the A.S. and only take an Embrel injection once a week. My rheumatologist is impressed with how well I'm doing with no oral meds at all for 12 months now, not to mention my ability to move some much more freely. I cannot imagine what condition I would be in at this point in my life had I not found Dr. Reeis-Martin and I would be so happy to speak personally with anyone and encourage anyone contemplating a weight-loss journey with her.
