Having used Cox Plumbing several times in the past, I called and was given a next day service appointment. I subsequently received an email to confirm the date and approximate time. Prior to the service techs' arrival, I received another email to say that they were on their way. Gil and his partner Carlos arrived on time and completed the work (replaced three shutoff valves) efficiently and mess-free. When the work was completed I received an itemized invoice by email, followed by a request to rate Gil's work. A very positive experience.

Cox plumbing is our "go to" plumber. They return calls and if you call them a real person answers and actually listens to you. The plumbers are great and do excellent work, are reasonably priced and don't leave a mess. They have done big and small jobs for us. You can't go wrong with Cox. I'm a valley stream homeowner.

With winter approaching and after finding that my existing plumber had retired. I called Charlie Cox plumbing in Valley Stream for a water heater replacement. It seemed a bit specific as I needed a narrow water heater in order to fit into the existing space. They ordered it and called to schedule installation within a few days. On install day, the plumber noticed it was dented and they quickly had another crew locate and deliver a replacement (that same day). A few months later, I noticed a boiler valve started leaking and again, the office scheduled an appointment quickly. As the boiler was a bit old, I was worried it would open "Pandora's box". However, Gil quickly assessed the problem, suggested the additional items (vents, expansion tank) that should be replaced, and had the unit up and running leak free in a very short time. I can't praise Charlie Cox Plumbing enough. They are a professional and no-nonsense group of folks, who treated a new customer fairly. Hats off to Anne, Gerry and Gil who have the experience and simply know their stuff. They are now my "go to" plumber.
