I am so thrilled with my color and cut. This was my first visit to Maria and her team after years of mediocre cuts and colors elsewhere. She fixed the damage that was previously done to my hair and I showed her an image of how I wanted my hair to look. Not only did she make the image a reality, but she did it better. I feel beautiful, like someone really listened to my concerns. I won't be going anywhere else. Maria’s hair salon is a great little gem in Utica! She and her team took me as a walk-in and washed, highlighted, and dried my hair in under two hours. Maria paid extremely close attention to detail! I don’t think anyone has ever fooled my entire head of hair before! Everything came out even and gorgeous! Classy shop, professional yet fun atmosphere, and wonderful staff! Everyone worked together like family (which Maria and Gina are)! I love this place! ?
I’ve been a client of Maria’s for over twenty years; Maria is an extreme hard worker; and is a complete sweetheart. She’s always made me feel welcome; and she cares about her clientele. The haircuts are excellent and precise; the waxing is phenomenal: she strives to make you happy. Gina is also excellent with haircuts/styles…and Donna is fantastic with blowouts; and hair straightening!! It’s a fun experience listening to the banter; and having coffee; and feeling like your home away from home:)
