Gentlemen's Corner Barber Shop RPI is a welcoming community barber shop located on the RPI campus. Known for its old-school charm, it offers a family-friendly environment and is open to the general public. Customers enjoy excellent haircuts and shaves from talented barbers like Kay and Alex, who ensure a comfortable experience and pay attention to detail. The atmosphere is friendly and inviting, making conversations enjoyable. The shop also provides free coffee and WiFi for added convenience. With affordable prices, especially for college students, Gentlemen's Corner is a highly recommended place to visit, and there are plans to expand services to include women’s hairdressing soon.
The place is nicely decorated, making the shop welcoming. Kay, the barber is excellent at what he does, in that the haircuts are very solid, and consistently done very well. From personal experience, from this shop, 10/10 times I have received immaculate fades, and the scissor work is phenomenal. Solid business. Kay is the right way to go!
I’ve been to various barbershops around Troy before and while they all did good jobs the only one I’ve come back to is here. Kay does a great job, he's friendly, and he’ll schedule you quick.
Kay is a great barber, always makes you feel welcome and is just a great conversationalist. I’ve been going to him for months and I have yet to walk out with a cut I don’t love.
