When I moved to Troy, I took my elderly cat to Brunswick animal hospital and was incredibly impressed by their kindness and gentleness with her. She does really poorly in cars and arrived traumatized and covered in feces (she poops herself in car drives). I did not bring her back for several years due to her car stress and her good health. They were very understanding, unlike her previous vet who kept pressuring me to bring her in for shots and check ups even though I explained how stressful car drives are and that I’d prefer to only bring her in for health issues, not wellness visits.

I recently transferred my dog’s care to this veterinary hospital, and I am very glad I did. From the moment we arrived, the reception staff were welcoming, professional, and extremely helpful. We were taken to an exam room promptly by a knowledgeable and kind vet tech.
Dr. Burrowes took the time to carefully listen to my concerns regarding my dog’s extensive medical history, including my suspicion of Cushing’s disease. I can’t say enough good things about Brunswick Vet Hospital.
The Drs and staff are by far the most compassionate and supportive group of professionals I’ve met.
They take their time with you and answer all questions.
They never pressure you into doing anything that you’re not comfortable with.
I recently had to have my dog put to sleep.
Dr Sherwood and Sam couldn’t have been more compassionate and caring.
