When we rescued our pup (malinois/bernedoodle mix) in October, it was the first time we had a puppy, let alone a large breed puppy (at 6 months he is already 62 pounds). Admittedly I didn’t know enough of what I was getting into, and mistakingly expected this experience would be as laid back as that of our prior rescue of 12 years. I was wrong and quickly realized I would need help. Our friend/neighbor who has had 2 German Shepard’s highly recommended Anne and Good Dog Pet Training. In fact, while a 20 minute ride from our home, Anne was a perfect fit to help me and worth the drive!! Anne and the Good Dog Team are incredible.
I initially reached out for training for our new rescue girly who needed leash work and reactivity training. Eventually, our mini labradoodle became part of the crew to tighten up his previous training and work on impulse control. Anne explains, models and then has me implement the strategy. She is available to talk through any issues that arise and I truly feel supported by her and the team.
