The Right Place For Finding The Right Pros Near You!
Last spring, I scheduled a consultation with Dave to discuss options for hydroseeding our property. His application was incredibly thorough and he even gave me some landscaping tips along with ways to improve the health of the boxwoods in front of my house. His decision to use a different seed blend than his competitors(more perennial than annual grass seed) has helped us establish a lush, green lawn that will flourish for years to come.
We are new to area and found Paul's Lawn Care through Google. With several grading and reseeding projects necessary, we hired Paul for those projects and weekly maintenance. Paul and his crews exceeded our expectations through every turn and transformed our property into a showcase. Paul also coordinated other subcontractors for irrigation and new plantings. Paul spent a Saturday morning with us selecting the ten new trees for our property with a Troy's tree expert. He placed and planted them perfectly. As the season has ended, we thank him and his crews and look forward to Spring 2024. We recommend him highly and without hesitation. Actually, 10 stars are in order!
Now Joe Dee's Barber Shop. I am a long time customer. Glad to have Joe back after being closed for a while. I need to visit next week.
Our family started taking taekwondo with another studio as it was offered through an after school program. The contract and costs were very expensive and something we were reluctant to agree to. There was pressure from the studio staff along with incentive dates to commit and sign a contract. We signed up and locked into expensive pricing. After only a few weeks of attending, I began researching alternatives to the class as it felt like an overpriced dance party. It didn't feel like a martial arts class. It felt like a way to run kids out of energy. We wanted the class to teach our kids skills in a more traditional setting. I found the pentjak karate club online and through word of mouth discovered they offered free trial classes. We took advantage of the karate clubs free classes and gave our child the opportunity to choose for themselves between the two. The choice was easy for them and a relief to me as the overstimulating environment at taekwondo was a lot to take in. The pentjak studio in Stillwater is nothing like the cookie cutter taekwondo and karate classes offered throughout the capital region. The club is excellent and it feels like a family run business with an owner who cares. Jim loves his students, treats everyone like family and it shows. The Instructors, once students themselves, grew to love the program and pushed themselves to become more. They've created a kind, compassionate and very real group of respected teachers. Most instuctors have other family members also in the program which is really awesome to see and it's contagious! Together this group under Jim's direction have crafted a school that fits all ages and types of children. We went from having one child enrolled to now all four. They're different ages with different personaliites who have different needs. The team at pentjak studio give their best to make sure each child is getting the most out of each class. They don't guilt you when you can't make it to a class because life happens, there are no contracts, there isn't a sales pitch or a ton of expensive gear to buy and the pricing is extremely fair, reasonable and affordable. I'm happy we found the studio so we could offer this learning experience to all of our children. The school has that sort of hometown feeling which compliments the appeal of the surrounding areas. If you're looking for a class that makes you feel like family and also teaches you endurance, discipline and confidence this will be a good fit for you. The free classes are an amazing way to try it out and see if your child or even yourself likes the program. Don't be surprised if you find yourself wanting to take the adult classes after watching how much fun it is for the kids. I think all the parents would agree you won't be disappointed.
Excellent job taking down a very large diseased maple and a large ash tree - also diseased that were very close to my house and electrical wires. Arrived on time and were available sooner than any other companies I got estimates from. Prices extremely fair, communication was excellent regarding when they were coming and what to expect. Keith called me several times and kept me updated and they were very professional. Did a great job cleaning up as well as trimming a crabapple tree and 2 birch trees and cutting apple tree branches hanging over my roof on the back of the house. Highly recommend. Excellent job, fair prices and complete cleanup including stump removal. Especially impressed with answering questions and returning calls. Thank you all!!
Been going to Sam for many years now. Wouldn't go anywhere else. She is the best.
