Been coming to Rob & Ed’s Barbershop for over five years now, and the quality has always been top notch. Every barber there can do a great skin fade, and the atmosphere is always welcoming. Rob, the owner, is personable and treats customers of all ages with a lot of respect.
My barber specifically, Loca — hoping I’m not butchering the name — always makes sure I’m good to go. I usually ask for a high skin fade, and the quality is consistently excellent. They can handle all types of cuts, and I’d recommend them to anyone looking for a quality barber in the Floral Park, New Hyde Park, or Garden City area.
They’re right on Covert Avenue. Local tip: don’t park and pay for the meters. Take the parallel street behind the shop and you can usually find free parking.
Special shoutout to Loca again for taking care of me before a wedding I’m attending this weekend. But honestly, all the guys there — Rob, Daniel, and Loca — can give you the cut you want. I’ve never had a bad cut here. Rob only brings in the best, most professional barbers.

Got my back waxed for the first time in my life at Body Works and it was a great experience. Donna helped accommodate my erratic schedule and Rene (the esthetician) set my expectations, made me as comfortable as possible and worked quickly. She also has a great sense of humor and I was thrilled with the final results. Highly recommended!
