South Shore Driving School is a highly recommended driving school with a professional and helpful instructor. They offer lessons in English and Spanish, and their patient and informative approach helps build confidence. Many students have passed their road tests with ease, thanks to the school's guidance and care. The driving instructors, such as Owen and Phil, are known for making students feel comfortable from the start and taking their time to provide necessary corrections. This approach, along with their patience and encouragement, has enabled many students to pass their road tests on the first attempt, leaving them very happy with the experience.
This driving school provides quick service to you your drivers lisence asap. I had John as an instructor and he was very friendly and helpful, he gave great advice and taught me to parallel park in only one lesson, thanks to him I got my license the same day as my lesson. Great driving school I'd highly recommend even if you life in brooklyn or manhattan I'd highly recommend going with these guys
I failed my road test after taking lessons with another driving school, so I was pretty discouraged. Then I booked a session here, and the difference was obvious right away. The instructor was calm, straightforward, and actually explained the little things nobody had pointed out before. We focused on exactly what I was struggling with, and after just one lesson, I passed my test and got my license. Really thankful for the help — highly recommend this school if you want an instructor who actually teaches well.

I had the best experience with South Shore. What a great local business. I needed a car for the road test on very short notice (less than 24 hours) and they sorted it out. We even got a short practice run in which I can wholeheartedly recommend! Although I have been driving for 20 years, Phil was able to give me very valuable pointers and filled me in on how the test works. It made the test so much easier! I also truly appreciated his calm and clear way of teaching and left ready and reassured. Last but not least, they were significantly less expensive than other, larger schools. Couldn’t be happier and can only recommend to add a short lesson to the car rental.
