Beautiful course well maintained with a very historical looking club clubhouse. Amenities were fine price was reasonable enough. Went on a wet day so all cart path, still finished in 4.5 hours. Would definitely recommend playing a round here
I really enjoyed this course. This was the first course I've ever played on in my life. I went out in April and the greens we're being aerated, so that sucked a little, but that is just part of it early in the season. I probably should have tried another course as my first course, as many of these fairways are really tight and unforgiving, but the course is beautiful, scenery is awesome, love all the hills, and I had a great great time playing. Played here for the first time today after a couple of years playing the other NYC municipal courses. Well-kept parkland course with easy access through public transport from Manhattan. Greens are in good condition, running true and firm. Not the most challenging layout, but there are a few elevation changes and dog-legs to mix it up. Thoroughly enjoyed the round and will be back.
