2025..Update several years later...If it wasn't for Dr. Defeo I would have NO front top or bottom teeth....change that to NO TEETH AT ALL. He's a brilliant dentist and once again, I thought that was it...after not showing up for way too long for an appointment...I was sure he was going to tell me that I needed dentures but no..he is fixing the teeth that need fixing and his bridges and crowns LAST FOR SO LONG...I've never had one of his cbridges or crowns replaced. The bad reviews because the front desk is so busy are absurd. They are the nicest ladies to me. Dr. Defeo is of the best dentists and human beings on Staten Island.

Joann is a fantastic receptionist, and the rest of the crew are terrific, as well. We have been going to Dr Defeo for decades and he is wonderful, pleasant, professional, and knows how to put people at ease.

Been using Louie for years! He is always honest and he is a great guy! He's thorough and is an excellent dentist. Glad that I discovered him after years of terrible dentistry somewhere else. If you want the best hygienist on Staten Island... Ellie is it! She is the hygienist at Defeo's office. Talk about a good cleaning and an amazing person Joanne does a great job managing the reception area also. A+ service.
