I had my first lesson today with Skylar, and this is exactly the experience I was in search of to get more comfortable as a driver. I entered the car with my nerves and eager to learn and Skylar had a lot of patience, grace and skill with attention to the small details. I know what I have to do to get better behind the wheel. I didn't leave the car with a feeling of dread, but excitement that I'm well on my way.
I am highly satisfied and will forever be grateful for my experience at Drive Rite Academy! Before I began taking lessons with driverite this past January, I was highly apprehensive and anxious about driving on the open road. My instructors-Jim and Sujata, were both patient and understanding, and installed in me a sense of confidence and determination to get me to where I am today. I can vouch for both Jim and Sujata and their knowledgeable expertise about the skills of the fundamentals of driving in which they impart on all of their students. They worked with me as I balanced a busy weekly schedule between work and driving and prepared me for the road test. I would highly reccomend Drive Rite Academy to any and all drivers who are nervous about taking that next big step and getting behind the wheel. I learnt to drive in the UK, but now live in New York and needed a NY driving lesson. I booked a familiarization lesson and an expedited test through Drive Rite and had a great experience. I had a choice of places for the familiarization lesson, but because of my time constraints I ended up doing 25 minutes in Brooklyn immediately before my test. The familiarization was great, from knowing the car (which I got from Drive Rite for the test) , through to chatting with Dave, my instructor, about what to expect in the test, and some practice. I went into the test feeling confident, I passed the test and 10 days later I had a licence in my mailbox. Thank you Drive Rite for a smooth process, friendly service anda great result
