If you’re into Japanese maples or conifers, Toadflax Nursery in South Glens Falls is an absolute must visit. Their selection is incredible, easily one of the most diverse and high quality collections I’ve ever seen. Whether you’re looking for something rare or just getting started, they have something for everyone.
What really makes the place stand out is the people. The staff was phenomenal, super knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely willing to take the time to help and answer questions. You can tell they really care about what they do and the plants they grow.
In my opinion, this is the best Japanese maple and conifer nursery... read full review

Customer of 16 years, absolute best quality within hours. Only place who grows most of their own high quality material and it lasts for months each season, plus they have the cutest cat!!?

Beautiful selection of houseplants. Staff up front were super friendly and accommodating. However, I think it was the owner/manager (?) that came out as I was cashing out that disliked a price discrepancy for a houseplant. It was labeled $29.99 but she raised the price since it had grown a lot in their care to $60. Luckily I was able to get the ticketed price but I thought that was a little unfair for the next person who’d want that plant (there were 2 of them). Besides that, my experience was very nice.
