Waves is the best hair salon I’ve ever been to. They always schedule me even if it’s last minute and Michelle is the only hairdresser that’s ever curled my hair with a blow dry brush. I can always count on Wazes and always leave feeling like a princess leaving. Also the shampoo treatment is insane
This was I believe my 3rd time going, I went to Michelle S. And she is absolutely amazing. I have thick curly hair and a lot of trauma with stylists who don't know how to cut my hair properly. Michelle has been nothing but amazing not only does she know how to handle my hair she listens to what I want and does a fantastic job. I have been to so many salons and have left in tears because someone butchered my hair. I was even told by the beauty school next door that they aren't taught how to cut curly hair which is sad honestly. If Michelle for whatever reason leaves waves I'm following her lol. I recently got a Brazilian blowout at Waves Hair Salon in Hauppauge, and I can’t say enough good things about it! They have this awesome special on Tuesdays in June for just $199, so it’s a great time to treat yourself.
My sister, who’s super picky about her hair, insisted I see Marie, and wow, she didn’t disappoint. Marie is seriously the best 💛.
Tina, the owner, is also a sweetheart. Her friendly energy makes the salon feel so welcoming.
