We purchased a home in the Catskills of Woodstock with an old and mildly failing septic system a little over a year ago. I found L&L Earthworx to be top rated online and gave Amy a call, and she was amazing from the very get go. Amy sent Gene over to take an assessment of the property, as we were also having some standing water issues. Gene was also clearly a SME in the excavation, and septic fields, but most importantly keeping the theme of nature preservation top of mind. Getting a new septic system is not a short project, Amy was very helpful in moving and managing all the moving parts of the year long project forward from inception to completion. Got our driveway leveled, ditched and regraveled by L&L a few weeks back. Gene and Amy were responsive and patient throughout. Gene did a great job as shown in the very obvious before + afters.
I had an outstanding experience with this family-run company. From start to finish, the entire process was handled with professionalism, skill, and genuine care.
Amy managed all the scheduling and logistics flawlessly, keeping me informed every step of the way. The project required DEP approval and involved placing a massive septic tank on a 35% grade in front of my home — not an easy task by any means.
Gene and the crew executed the installation with incredible expertise. What could have been a stressful and complicated job was completed smoothly, safely, and efficiently. They made a very challenging project look effortless.
