I called last week for a sink job, we made an appointment for yesterday and they never showed up. When I called they made another appointment fo today and they never showed up. When I called to cancel the service he did not seem to care. I'm glad I did not have them in our home. I had a very successful retail business for 40 years, it would not have been successful if I treated customers like I was treated the Hampton Construction and Handyman Services.

He was taking multiple jobs and left us to mostly manage the project ourselves. He was never around, and made multiple mistakes because his subcontractors had no idea what they should be doing. He has only 2 or so people that actually work for him, the rest are all subcontracts and they are a hit or miss in quality. Significant delays, pricing that "he forgot" to charge, etc. list can go on. Quality suffered overall. Would not use again.

You can't do better anywhere: great work, great prices, great attitude - and does everything from the small to the big. He has redone the porch, renovated the kitchen, put in new windows, fixed broken gate, put in stairs, put in a hand railing... the list is endless. Responsible, professional - takes out all the worry. A pleasure to work with.

I can't say enough good things about Carlos and his team at Hamptons Construction! I was in a real bind and needed someone to come out the same day I called and he made it happen! He and his coworker were on time, masked and incredibly professional. They got the job done to perfection and are now my "go to" company for all renovation and handy work. Thank you again to Carlos!

Carlos just did a full remodel on our home in East Hampton-- kitchen, master bedroom, repainted throughout, bathrooms, raising the height of indoor ceilings, outdoor shower, etc. We completed this project in the midst of Covid, while I was pregnant and living in Connecticut. Carlos would FaceTime me to help make decisions since I couldn't travel to the house and always made sure I was comfortable with the progress. I felt I could trust him completely. I have also previously done smaller jobs with Carlos, including renovating a bathroom and repainting the outside of our house. With every project (big or small) he's been reliable, on budget, on time, transparent, and just overall amazing to work with!

I found Carlos through Yelp and could not be happier. He finished our outdoor shower on time and did quality work based on a single picture I emailed to him. Very professional, great communication, nice aesthetic. I've finally found a local handyman for our big and small projects going forward. I highly recommend.

Carlos did a tremendous job for our client on the exterior of a commercial building. He and his crew showed up early in the morning to do the work before store hours - as to not interrupt our customer's "guest experience". The job was done to total satisfaction of our client. And as it turned out, the work was done prior to a big visit so the store employees got rave reviews as well. Thank you Carlos!!! Job well done!

We called Carlos to make an appointment for an estimate for an entire gut renovation on our place in Montauk. We made the appointment to suit his schedule and reorganized our travel for it. The day of our appointment, i called when he was supposed to be at our home to ask about his whereabouts and he said that he forgot about the appointment and said it woukd be 45 minutes until he could arrive and an hour later and he still was not here although we again pushed our timing back for him. His behavior is unprofessional and needless to say we will not be using his services and hope that he changes the way he does business because its not very nice!!
