About The Art Of K9 Dog Training & Behavior Modification

The Art of K9 Dog Training & Behavior Modification specializes in advanced behavior modification and Board & Train programs in Westchester County, NY, and Fairfield County, CT. The business focuses on helping dogs with aggression, reactivity, and obedience issues, emphasizing real-world results through structure, communication, and consistency rather than quick fixes. The programs are tailored for committed dog owners seeking lasting change and are designed to ensure quality results by working with a limited number of dogs. Clients have praised Angelo for his transformative training methods. One owner noted that after two years, their once-excitable Golden Retriever, Toast, became more responsive and integrated into the family. Another client shared how Angelo improved not only their dog’s behavior but also the quality of life for both the dog and the family. In cases of severe anxiety and aggression, such as with a rescue dog named Oliver, owners found that Angelo’s approach saved their dog’s life, helping him become relaxed and at peace. The Art of K9 is known for its compassionate methods and effective training, with clients feeling grateful for the support and lasting improvements in their dogs' behavior. Many owners express that they wish they had sought help sooner and recommend Angelo's services for those facing serious challenges with their pets.

Angelo was amazing with our dog Bowie. He returned from 6 weeks of board and train with the ability to heal, settle and hold place. He is no longer reacting to people coming in the house as he once did, though Im still working with Angelo to ensure I keep up the training protocols. We are so grateful we found him or we likely would be rehoming our sweet boy or living with him in isolation from the world.

As an aspiring trainer who moved from New York City to Tampa to pursue his goals, there was a lot of uncertainty ahead. Luckily, I had the pleasure of meeting Devin on my journey down south and it is not an exaggeration to say his guidance changed my journey as a trainer. He mentored me and helped me not only take my dog Tito to the next level, but provide me with tips that changed my training as a whole. His philosophy is more than just modifying a dog’s behavior, but helps you as the owner understand what your dog needs from its leader. I am grateful to have been mentored by someone who shares an equal passion for people, as he does for dogs!

I cannot recommend The Art of K9 and Angelo enough. My very sensitive, anxious and reactive dog, Jax, spent 6 weeks with Angelo earlier this year and the change I’ve seen in Jax since he returned is significant. Angelo is invested in every dog he works with and, months later, he continues to make himself available to answer questions and provide guidance - and he also checks in with me periodically even when I haven’t reached out with questions just to see how Jax is doing.

If you’re looking for a board and train program with an effective and knowledgeable trainer to provide measurable results and ongoing support, look no further.
