The quality of care and level of thoroughness was great. However, the promptness to being seen at your appointment time was lacking and pretty awful to be honest. The latter is the reason I will not be returning to this office. I would rather drive 20 mins out of the way to be seen at my appointment time and be in and out rather than be inconvenienced by spending 1.5 hrs in a doctor's office. I had eye infection so it was great to find an office within 5 mins of my job so I could run there between things at work by taking an early lunch. I had a 10:30AM appointment and wait 20 mins to be called in. Not sure if I picked a bad day, but the office was filled with older folks who likely had no where else to be. After finally being brought in and seen, I was offered the opportunity to have an annual eye exam done too. I asked if it would be long and specifically told the medical assistant I needed to leave by 12PM to go back to work. She said it wouldn't be long and completed the initial exams and told me to wait in the inside waiting area for the rest of the exams. I was patiently sitting there and it is now 11:45AM and I have yet to be seen for the last set of exams. I flagged down the medical assistant and tell remind her that I need to leave by 12PM and it is now 11:45AM and if the rest of the exam cannot be done, I need to leave now. She rushes me in to do the last exams and I was able to just make it out by 12PM to make it back to work for my meeting. No idea why the additional exams weren't done sooner and only complete once I complained about the wait.

Saw Dr Romsaitong at the Little Neck location. She was on time, very thorough answering my questions and going into detail. I did not feel rushed and am very happy being in her care. The staff is friendly and professional. Parking is sometimes a problem so allow a little time if you are driving. UPDATE - She is no longer working at this office.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ If I could give 100 stars, I would! Let me tell you about the dream team: Dr. Li and her right-hand superstar Darwin. This was my first visit to Dr. Li’s office after being urgently referred to a uveitis specialist by my ophthalmologist—and I walked in feeling nervous, half-blind in my right eye, and full of questions.
From the moment I stepped into the office, everything just clicked. Check-in? Easy as pie. Even though my interaction with the front desk was short (because the moment I walked in everything was already handled—just had to sign one quick form), I have to say: the women behind the desk were everything. Warm smiles, friendly vibes, and total competence. They were like the welcoming committee for this medical dream team—setting the tone with “you’re in good hands” energy before I even had the chance to sit down. Literally. I was just about to park myself in the waiting room when Darwin swooped in to bring me to the back.
Now let’s talk about Darwin—this man is a GEM. Professional, knowledgeable, kind, and genuinely listened as I explained my symptoms. He asked all the right questions, got what I like to call my “eye vitals,” and when I mentioned the pressure and near-complete vision loss in one eye, he didn’t skip a beat—he checked my eye pressure right away and went straight to consult with Dr. Li. He also made me laugh, which was much needed. Like, give this man a raise and a trophy.
Enter Dr. Li—poised, brilliant, and an absolute boss in the best possible way. She walked in with such calm authority and compassion, I instantly felt at ease. She took her time, examined my eyes in every way imaginable, asked thorough questions, and didn’t rush a single moment. When it came time to make the call on whether to send me to a specialist or perform an emergency procedure right there—she trusted her instincts, chose to act, and walked me through every single step so I knew exactly what to expect. Her communication was top-tier and her hands? Steady and confident. The whole procedure? Seamless.
I left that office feeling like I had just been taken care of by the Beyoncé and Jay-Z of ophthalmology. Seriously. I trusted them implicitly and still do. It’s rare—RARE—to feel so safe, heard, and cared for on a first visit, especially in a situation that could’ve been downright terrifying.
If you’re considering Dr. Li’s office, stop thinking and GO. They’re efficient, compassionate, and make you feel like you’re more than just a chart number—they make you feel like you matter. Because you do.
People may not always remember what you did, but they’ll always remember how you made them feel—and Dr. Li, Darwin, and even the fabulous front desk team made me feel seen, safe, and supported. That’s real healthcare. That’s the gold standard. 👏💯

Dr. Tung has been the ophthalmologist for my wife and myself for many years. He is personable and patient, and takes time to explain our eye exam results thoroughly. Also, Dr. Tung is caring and efficient, that makes every meeting we had with him completely stress free.
