I met Carmelo "Melo" and instantly knew he was an expert! I had a feeling his background was from a very experienced setting and it was. He was in NYC for many years- and knew how to cut and thin my hair to perfection! The reason I give 4 stars is for the decor- which is very clean -but a touch in need of an uplift.His haircut is up there with some of the finest in the industry- not sure why he does not charge higher prices. Visit Date: September 1, 2022 I found a groupon deal here so I called to make an appointment. I'm trying to grow out my hair from a really short cut I had done around the end of July but I hate that damn awkward tail I get when I do a really short cut and it starts growing out so I wanted to get a trim. I walked in a few minutes early but they took me in early to start on my hair. One of the owners worked on me, I'm not sure what his name was but he was a nice older Italian guy, happy, funny and full of wisdom. He shampooed my hair because the shampoo girl wasn't in yet. Had a great experience. Was greeted by Maria who also washed my hair and then Miro did my color and cut. I was so happy with the results and the prices are very reasonable. I will be back.
