Whitney East built our very specifically designed house 5 years ago. We were experienced home renovators and requested a few of our own sub-contractors involved on the job - people that we considered friends as well as good professionals. Not many construction companies would ever allow such a thing! We also were committed to a difficult building site within an established neighborhood and that brings a unique set of challenges. This is our 9th house (two townhomes) called "home" within the Rochester area since 1969. By now, we knew how we lived and the requirements for the home we needed for our "old age." This is it...featured in magazines (Rochester Living) and house tours (groups from as far away as Charlotte, NC). By most standards, this is a 5 star build...I am particularly fussy and there were a few glitches with trim work that I'm sure would have been corrected had I insisted...but I didn't at the time. Without any doubt, I would call Whitney again to work on any construction project - large or small - and would hope, with a little begging and pleading, they would say "yes" again!
