About The Rochester T'ai Chi Ch'uan Center
The Rochester T'ai Chi Ch'uan Center offers classes in a set of naturally flowing movements for health and fitness, relaxation, meditation, balance and self defense. It is simple to learn, but endlessly challenging. The practice increases cardiovascular and lung function, improves balance, gently strengthens muscles, and relieves stress. Students describe it as an enjoyable mind and body workout and note it is fun. The school has great instructors who guide your way to better physical and mental health, helping students get away from the rat race. The staff are great, and students always enjoy seeing them. A great plus is that you can attend as many classes as you want. Many students are grateful and highly recommend learning T'ai Chi here, calling it a great place and a wonderful niche in Rochester.
I've now taken several classes on and off campus. I have had several instructors but, Mike and Joe have worked with me more than the others. I am physically stronger as well as mentally. The choreography is beautiful with much meaning behind each move. I would highly recommend any of the classes offered.
