RochesterWorks is a nonprofit organization that offers no-cost employment and training services to job seekers, youth, and businesses in Monroe County and the Greater Rochester Area. While some users find the career exploration workshop unhelpful, with suggestions to fill out the survey booklet independently, many appreciate the dedicated staff. Clark, in particular, receives high praise for his helpfulness, patience, and knowledge. However, wait times for services can be frustrating, leading to concerns about client treatment. Absolutely, do not attend the career exploration workshop. Ask for the survey booklet and fill it out yourself in 10 to 15 minutes. There is no point to having a 2-hour workshop guiding us how to fill out this booklet that will tell you nothing you don't already know.
Though here 15 minutes early....it is now an hour and a half waiting for NPCheck in excellent ppd placement excellent.Waiting for np rediculous rude and completely unacceptable....if I treated my clients with this diregard I would not have a business.
The staff is great, and waiting is minimal however after all my information was collected there was very little they could do for me. I don't need to use their computers, I have one at home. The biggest help was provided to me regarding my resume. The agent was very helpful in pointing out what was wrong with my resume and what I need to change. But after that there was nothing else there for me. Still I would recommend this place to anyone serious about job searches and preparations. As there are some work classes available for those who could benefit from going over the very basics of resume building, networking and interviews.
