There are not enough stars to rate Penfield Veterinary Clinic. They are a 10 out of 10. The clerical staff, technicians & doctors are excellent in every way. Dr.Erik Herrema has been treating my Corgi who was diagnosed with Cushings & Diabetes. His communication, diagnostic testing & treatment plan literally saved my previous dog’s life. The kind, caring response by the front desk is exceptional. The techs are friendly and reassuring. Dr. Herrema is extremely knowledgeable, and does not hesitate to provide excellent guidance with treatment options & plans. I highly recommend this practice for your pets needs. You will find excellence in every way.
To Dr. Thornton and the entire staff, we thank you for your prompt service, your professionalism and expertise, but most importantly your concern and compassion for our beautiful Cat Pomona during our most difficult time. Dr. Thornton gave us great and compassionate advice in making our decision to put our baby to rest without anymore suffering and gave my wife and I closure. God Bless all of you!
I am very lucky and happy to have a supportive vet office like Penfield. I have 4 cats, one of whom has a serious heart problem, and two others with some chronic issues that need regular monitoring, so I’m in with appointments fairly often. Everyone there always asks after the “lion pride” and is so helpful with scheduling, keeping up with medications and dosage changes, and generally checking in with what’s going on with their health (and mine in a way). I highly recommend this office. I think good service is of course worth paying for, but it certainly helps that Penfield’s rates are affordable and that makes it so much easier to keep up with regular or rechecked...read full review
