About Loraine's Dominican Beauty
Loraine's Dominican Beauty is a local family-owned business that offers a range of hair services. The salon has a straightforward system - customers come in, get their hair washed and set, then proceed to the dryers before getting their hair blown out, pressed, and styled. While the staff may not be the most outgoing or communicative, they are skilled at their craft and can transform even the most kinky and curly hair into a silky, straight style. The prices are a bit higher than some other local salons, but still affordable, and customers often tip generously due to the excellent service. Despite some initial apprehension about the salon's no-frills approach, many clients leave satisfied with the final results of their hair.
This place is clean, big, and they have a nice system going-you come in, you get a wash and (roller) set, they take u to the dryers u sit and wait for a century and a half, they give u a paper with some scribble on it I never know what it means, u better not lose it, then u go the last stage of the process which is to get ur hair blow dried, pressed ( flat ironed), and styled. My hair is kinky and curly and I leave with it silky straight Everytime. The issue with these ppl is they dk good customer service, like they're nice but they don't go above n beyond or do much talking to u-they just do their job and talk to each each other n keep it moving. Overall a ok experience she was working on my hair while working on someone else’s extensions… it felt a lil rushed my hair was pretty dry afterwords and there’s was no one that spoke English which made it harder…it didn’t last due to it being so dry but it was straight…
I love the way my hair is left after leaving here, Usually my hair gets curly within a week after a blow out, but from here it last a long time, the only thing that I really dislike is the wait time, I called to schedule an appointment they told me walk in only, I wanted color, they said I have to come earlier, expect to be there for about 2,3 hours.
