Despite the general dislike for the IRS, this location and its staff are praised for their friendliness, patience, and efficiency in resolving tax-related issues. Customers highlight the quick service, with one visit taking only 10 minutes, and the staff's willingness to advocate for the resolution of lost refunds.
Nobody likes the IRS, but as far as this location and the staff, they were great. We had a rejected tax return and suspected identity theft, but we got an appointment next day with this office and were in and out in 10 minutes. Staff from security to the employee assisting us were friendly and helpful. In the end the issue ended up being faulty HR Block software, taxes submitted no problem with other software.
The IRS is being removed as we speak. No matter if they reply denying this, these words will come to fruition. The Federal Reserve Building headquarters has been out of business and boarded up for a few years now. "Why are we still paying taxes then you might ask?"
