“I went to Kings of Blades on a Friday mid morning. My 11 year old son needed a hair cut. I thought it was a barbershop setting so I assumed I didn’t need an appointment and just went. It’s more of a salon setting and an appointment is definitely advised. Being a walk-in and the face it was very busy, I did end up waiting a long time. This was my own fault though. I should have checked to see if I needed an appointment. One of the stylists was on the phone with the owner and handed me the phone. She must have told him I was waiting for a while and he wanted to talk to me. Long story short, he apologized for the wait and said they’d absolutely accommodate us. He was very nice. My son ended up having Jenny as his hair cutter. Jenny did such an outstanding job!! My son is very particular about his haircut and knew exactly what he wanted. Jenny delivered! She gave an amazing cut!! My son is so happy! Then I thought oh man this is going to be expensive. The cut was only $35!! She spent almost an hour cutting his hair!! I couldn’t believe how inexpensive it was for all the work she did. I’m definitely making this our place for his haircut. We’ll be back monthly.“

“Our experience with Monti exceeded all of our expectations. We found out about his shop through Mondays at Racine. Monti generously donates his time and services to patients undergoing Cancer treatments, at no charge. Upon entering we were greeted by Monti and his staff. I have never been inside such a posh men's salon...neither had my husband! Monti treated my husband to a haircut, beard trim and finally a hot towel shave. The 2 guys were together for almost an hour and the conversation between them never stopped. It was sincere and genuine. Monti took such an interest in my husband and shared so much of himself as well. He pampered my husband. Nothing was rushed. He made my husband smile and feel good. I am so beyond thankful and grateful for this experience. I would wholeheartly recommend this shop and their services. Thank you again Monti. You're a true gentleman!“
