Do not do business with Crews painting, I had done business with Steve so I gave him a $6,000 deposit against my better judgement. I called off the job after numerous no shows for prep work. Steve promised to return ny deposit over and over and now, a year later, still holding my money. I'm suing as a last resort and expect to get a judgement. whether I collect depends on Steve's sense of honor.
Dishonest and a con artist. Sends out a perfect estimate entailing the job and asks for 1/2 of the job as a down payment ( which I foolishly gave) in my case *******. Did not show up for months. I repeatedly asked for my money back. Then a strange individual arrives in the evening who paints in the rain and at night with a flashlight and left trash and cigarettes all around the house. I fired the individual and brought in a very professional team that were immediately going over all the work that was done incorrectly and sub par. The professional team said there was no power wash not sanding. Everything was childlike and perhaps sadly related to either drugs or mental illness is my guess. When spoken to Mr. ********************** made up some crazy story about a partner who stole his business and wrote those reviews which by the way rang true.Do not engage with ***** **********************, ***** Crews Painting or the real ***** crews painting - this is a con operation .
My experience is even worse. I contacted them and they referred me to Andrew. Andrew came, we made all the plans, yet then I saw the reviews here on yelp. I reached out to Andrew and he gave me instead 3 client contacts, which came back with great reviews. So I paid 1/3 of the job deposit to this company, as directed by Andrew, yet the day Andrew was to start, he told me the company did not pay him for the last 3 weeks and so he quit. So I just lost my whole deposit. The company is unwilling to give the money back. And BTW, just contacted Andrew's references and they never paid Crews Painting, they paid Andrew directly. Do NOT engage with this company!
