Mountain stream Budo is the real deal. Sensei Noah has been doing martial arts since 12 years old and is a committed dedicated teacher and owner. I went to the opening of the new location in Beacon in September. It is so beautiful, spacious, and well designed. I met students of his that have been with him for years, both children and adults. You can choose from a variety of martial art styles to study and practice. It’s a great way to get in shape and learn the discipline. It’s also steeped in tradition which Noah is a specialist and travels to Japan regularly.

I am a Sensei myself. Recently I had the pleasure of teaching a seminar alongside Mitchell Sensei. All cards on the table, we have known each other for years now, but even so, I thought maybe I would include my comments that I sent to him privately:
“Just wanted to let you know that I think you’re a great instructor, not just a Sensei. Was listening to you as you taught beginners and advanced students during seminars. People at our level can cut just fine but not everyone can actually communicate how to cut to someone of lower rank and even fewer can tailor their advice to the person they are teaching. I consider you in the highest category”
Amazing energy at this school! Sensei Noah is a highly credentialed martial artist, but he is also very friendly, fun and if I had kids I would definitely recommend this program. It is a huge and brand new space, what a beautiful place to begin or continue your martial arts journey! Wishing him all the best in Beacon!
