Lance Dorfi Radon Mitigation specializes in radon removal for homes in lower New York State and Fairfield County, Connecticut. The company has over 25 years of experience and is known for its professionalism and dedication to improving indoor air quality. Their certified radon specialists work according to EPA guidelines and standards. They offer a five-year transferable warranty to ensure radon levels remain below the EPA's recommended level. Customers praise the company's professionalism, knowledge, and respectful service. They highlight the detailed explanations provided about the installation process and the high quality of the work, which consistently results in radon levels below the EPA's recommended limits. The Lance Dorfi team did a great job for a reasonable price and took levels down well below the EPA level, accommodating requests by putting the outside unit in a less noticeable location and having the pipe blend in with gutters. Lance came out and thoroughly inspected the issue, quickly diagnosing the problem. He and his crew sealed cracks in the foundation and tapped off the existing system to improve its functionality. In the end, levels are down and almost non-existent.
Excellent experience with Lance Dorfi Radon Mitigation! The whole process was seamless. They arrived in the morning and were finished before noon. Lance was great with communication and patiently answered all of my many questions. The team was also very careful to cover and protect my floors and left everything clean.
Best of all, our radon levels went from 3.6 to 0.6! Couldn’t have asked for a better team. Highly recommend!
I am a Thoracic Surgeon specializing in Lung Cancer. Radon is the second most common environmental cause of lung cancer after smoking, and it is my responsibility to treat those patients. I knew very little about the effectiveness of mitigation technology, or how to reliably monitor safety over time.
Lance Dorfi and every single member of his teams were nothing short of brilliant. They were professional, knowledgable, and highly effective. Installation was fast, clean, and high quality without disrupting my home.

Lance Dorfi was responsive and professional. They came out with a full crew and completed our radon system installation in under two hours, including some very careful concrete drilling to avoid our in-floor heating!
