“I had originally heard of Elva and The Blank Slate through an old coworker who posted her new tattoo on FB. I was in the market for a new piece as well as a new artist. Elva's style on my friend matched the exact style I was looking for. I already had pictures of reference and I emailed Elva per her site. Let me tell you, the fact that she got back to me within 24 hours was already a plus to me. She was professional and to the point on what she needed from me next. After I booked my appointment I did have a few questions/concerns regarding my tattoo, style and placement. Without hesitation she emailed me back at her convenience and followed up with all my issues, which put my mind at ease. Through our emails Elva knew I had to arrange for babysitting services in order to keep my appointment and anytime there was an update to her schedule for our tattoo date, she made sure to notify me. The day of the tattoo Elva greeted me and made me feel super comfortable in her studio. We chatted about all different things and I felt like I was hanging with a friend, not just some random stranger I literally just met. I was so impressed with all her knowledge of tattoos and the history of it, it was great to lay back and have a listen . “I can’t tell you how wonderful Dina is. I came from Los Angeles and needed to have my eyebrows redone. I was afraid to go to anybody in New York, because the skill level in Los Angeles is so high.I found Dina through another woman who had eyeliner done by her. I couldn’t believe that it was permanent, it perfect, and the woman told me that she had it done three years earlier. I went to Dina and she did my eyebrows. The whole experience was fantastic from start to finish. I was so happy with them. She didn’t excellent job. I loved my eyebrows so much that I actually had her do my eyeliner as well. She truly is an artist and does not just do the same thing on each person. She takes the time to make sure that they fit your face and your style. I will return to her for many years, and will get additional work done. If I could give her 10 stars I would.“

“Going here for the first time, I didn't know what to expect. I have never been to a dermatologist before. It was a very easy, very nice experience with a wonderful woman at the front desk. My appointment went as well as it could've. I learned enough about my condition and what I needed to treat it, and because the experience was good, I am committed to follow the regiment that I need to do to better myself.
