About Casperkill Country Club
Casperkill Country Club, a public golf course designed by the legendary Robert Trent Jones, Sr. in 1944, offers a challenging and scenic golfing experience in Poughkeepsie, New York. The course gracefully incorporates the landscape's rolling hills, with elevated tees, manicured valley fairways, and well-bunkered, terraced greens, making each round a new adventure. As "The best value in the Hudson Valley," Casperkill is a popular venue, with a lovely building set a distance from the main entrance, offering a smoke space for about 30 people. The staff is friendly and responsive, and the course has undergone significant improvements, with the 2024 season promising an even better golfing experience.

I was at a bridal shower in a lovely building set a distance from the main entrance. The windows had lovely tree surroundings. They're was smoke space for about 30 people. The staff was very friendly and responsive to any requests.
Pleasantly surprised by the layout and quality of this course. Although some of the tee boxes can make the course feel tight, there is always a bail out option and the landing zones are bigger than they appear from the tee. Some say the greens are slow but they weren’t too shaggy when I played. Also, it’s cool to think about the history of this course and all the IBM employees rocking their 70’s and 80’s golf attire during the course’s heyday.
